How cashback works

Some stores pay us a commission when you buy through our links. On stores that show a cashback rate, we pass part of it back to you.

Four steps

  1. Log in. Sign in to your AdvCoupon account before you shop. That is how an order is linked to you.
  2. Click through to the store. Use Visit Store, or a coupon or deal, on AdvCoupon. Don't open the store in another tab first.
  3. Shop as usual. Add items and pay on the store's own website. You can use the coupon code from AdvCoupon at checkout.
  4. Track your cashback. Your cashback shows as pending in My Account, and turns confirmed once the store confirms the order.

Pending and confirmed

Cashback is pending until the store confirms your order, which can take from a few days to a couple of months. Cancelled or returned orders don't earn cashback.

When cashback may not track

  • Using another cashback, coupon or price-comparison site in between.
  • Blocking cookies in your browser.
  • Not logging in before you click through.
